Work with your team
Invite people into your workspace, give each a role, switch between workspaces, and hand a workspace over.
Use this guide when someone else should answer conversations, look after bookings or set up bots with you. Everyone keeps their own login; the workspace is the business's.
Open MembersWorkspaces
Your bots, conversations, contacts, integrations and plan belong to a workspace. The one you're in is at the top of the sidebar; open it to switch to another, to join one you've been invited to, or to create a new one. Each person's first workspace can be on Free; another one they create needs a plan before a bot goes live in it.
Roles
- Member: reads and answers conversations, takes them over, views and edits contacts, and manages bookings.
- Admin: everything a member does, plus bots, channels, integrations and settings, inviting people, and removing members and admins.
- Owner: everything, including billing, changing roles and deleting the workspace. A workspace always has at least one owner.
Invite someone
- Go to Settings → Members, type their email address, pick a role and choose Invite. Admins can invite admins and members; only an owner can invite an owner.
- They get an email with a link that works for 7 days, for that address only. Someone without a Meerlume account signs up from the link; someone who has one can also accept from the workspace menu.
- Open invitations are listed under the people, where you can send one again or withdraw it.
Seats
Each plan seats a number of people, you included, and an open invitation takes a seat until it's answered: 2 on Free, 3 on Starter, 10 on Growth and 25 on Pro. When they're all taken, Invite waits until you upgrade or free one.
Change a role, remove someone, or leave
- Pick a new role next to the person on the Members page; you’re asked to confirm first.
- Remove takes someone out of the workspace. Leaving is in the workspace menu. What they set up, such as bots and contacts, stays with the workspace; their own conversations with Lume there are deleted.
- To hand a workspace over, make the other person an owner, then step down. If the owner who pays for the plan steps down or leaves, the plan ends at the end of the period already paid for, and another owner can subscribe.
Notifications are per person
Everyone chooses their own Telegram or email notifications, and which events reach them in each workspace, under Settings → Notifications.
