Lume, and Meerlume in your own AI assistant
Lume, and Meerlume in your own AI assistant
Ask Lume in your dashboard how something works or to make a change for you, or do most of it from Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor.
Lume, the assistant built into your dashboard
Lume is now in the sidebar of the Meerlume dashboard for every owner, on every plan. Ask it how something works or what is going on, such as why the last booking sent you no notification. It answers from the guides and looks things up in your account: bots, channels, conversations, contacts, bookings, calendar, integrations, notifications and plan.
Ask for a change, from building a bot to your opening hours, closed days, website chat or notifications, and Lume shows what it will do first; nothing changes until you confirm, then a new bot or a change to what a bot says waits for you to publish, while the rest applies at once. Most calendar, notification and website chat changes can be undone by asking in the same conversation, as long as nothing they touched has changed since. It can also publish or unpublish a bot, and open the connect dialog for a channel or integration.
What Lume reads, and how many messages each plan gets
Lume lists your Meerlume conversations by title, customer name and status, and reads customers' messages and answers only once you switch on Read what customers wrote in the dashboard's Settings, under Lume. Everything it looks up, titles and names included, goes to the AI model that writes its answers; in titles, messages and answers, email addresses and phone numbers are replaced where they are recognised.
You can write Lume 50 messages a month on Free, 300 on Starter, 1,000 on Growth and 3,000 on Pro; confirming a change it proposed does not count. The Privacy Policy now covers Lume conversations, the AI models that answer them and how long they are kept.
Use Meerlume from Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor
Meerlume now has an MCP server, so an AI assistant you already use, such as Claude, ChatGPT in developer mode, Cursor or VS Code, can work in your account. Add https://mcp.meerlume.com/mcp to it, sign in to Meerlume and choose Allow: there is no API key, and it is included on every plan.
It can do most of what Lume does: look things up, build or change a bot, set up your calendar, publish or unpublish, and give you a link to connect a channel or integration. A change is made as soon as your assistant calls it, so asking you first is up to the assistant, and it lists conversations by title and customer name but reads the messages only while Read what customers wrote is on, passing what it looks up to that assistant. It cannot undo a change, delete a bot or your account, message your customers or change your plan, and you can disconnect it in the dashboard under Settings → Connected apps.
